The Gold (ruling class) equivalent of 'bloodydamn.' Same function, different word — and the difference marks your entire social identity. Darrow must learn to say this instead of 'bloodydamn' to pass as Gold.

Etymology
Golds replaced the Red prefix 'bloody' with 'gory,' possibly reflecting their warrior culture's comfort with gore. Same compound structure, different class register.

Taboo Trajectory
Functions as a class shibboleth. The word itself isn't more or less taboo than 'bloodydamn' — it's simply the version the powerful use, making it socially acceptable while the identical meaning in Red dialect is stigmatized.
