A Lasat-language exclamation. Show creator Dave Filoni and writer Greg Weisman confirmed it as an in-universe curse word. Later appeared briefly in Rogue One.
Usage History
Used throughout Star Wars Rebels (2014-2018). Briefly crossed into film via Rogue One (2016). Also appeared in the novel Master & Apprentice.
Taboo Trajectory
A kid-friendly curse for a Disney XD animated series. Despite its mild deployment, it carries genuine emotional weight through Steve Blum's vocal performance.
Semantic Drift Timeline
Primarily Zeb's catchphrase throughout Rebels. Made a brief film appearance in Rogue One when Commander Pao uses it during the Battle of Scarif.
